Wicked rythms

Really love all of the colors you used in this piece, and the fact that you took the purples from the surrounding and put it into the skin tone of the boy in order to express shadow.  There also seems to be quite a story behind it that I would be extremely interested in learning.  One tidbit that I would like to respectively give is that the boy's arm (the one about to hit the instrument)  is a bit to long.  His bicep is fine, it is his forearm that appears to long.  In order for him to hit the instrument he would have to bring his arm forward, thus it would need to be foreshortened slightly.  From the looks of the boy's other arm I would say that you are familiar with the technique considering how beautifully you pulled it off on this arm. Overall it's an amazing piece!
